James Blunt

I thought I may as well continue with the whole singing vibe. Here goes. I truly believe I will win the lottery before the age of 25. That is why I only intend to get a job after the age of 25, if I do not win the lottery. But the other day I had this feeling in my toes that my day had come. I had pictures in my head of myself cruising round the world on an ocean liner, while sipping a cocktail and reading the New York Times. Well I watched the lotto draw and I did not win. So I decided to listen to some music to help lift my depression. I was listening to James Blunt and decided to write my own version of his hit single “You’re beautiful”. Here goes, I’m not to sure what the manager at ABSA thinks of it though.

My life is fucked

My love is poor

I saw my bank manager

Of that I’m sure

He smiled at me in the teller queue

He was with another wanker

But I won’t lose no sleep on that

‘Cause I’ve got a plan

I’m fucking poor, I’m fucking poor

I’m fucking poor it’s true

I saw you, you wank, in a crowded bank

And I don’t know what to do

‘Cos I’ll never fucking pay you

Yes he caught my eye

As I walked on by

He could see from my wallet

That I was fucking broke

And I don’t think that I’ll pay him again

But we shared a moment that won’t last ‘till the end

I’m fucking poor, I’m fucking poor

I’m fucking poor it’s true

I saw you, you wank, in a crowded bank

And I don’t know what to do

‘Cos I’ll never fucking pay you

I’m fucking poor, I’m fucking poor

I’m fucking poor it’s true

There must be a devil with a smirk on his face

When he thought up that I shouldn’t pay you

But it’s time to face the truth

I will never fucking pay you
